Here's to you.: The Complete Insanity Collection: Meal Guide, Calendar, and Fourteen Workout Videos by Shaun T

Insanity is a workout/weight-loss program. It’s 60 days of cardio madness, that will lead you to love the instructor, as well as hate him, all at the same time.

It’s led by fitness provocateur, Shaun T, and he takes you through 14 different exercises designed to burn fat like mad. He does mostly Interval Training, that is, a blast of cardio, followed by a rest, followed by an even bigger blast.

The calendar will show you what exercises to do on which days. In the beginning, you’ll do a fit test in which you’ll see how many of each exercise you can do. Have a pen and paper ready to write down your results! Then, you’ll delve into the exercises according to the calendar. Every two weeks, you’ll take the fit test again, hopefully improving your numbers each time.

Insanity is one of the most intense workout programs you will ever do, but it’s worth it. You may thinking it’s “just too hard!” in the beginning, but from personal experience, I can honestly say you get stronger. Give it a try!

I wish you luck!:)

I just found out the guy I had a crush on likes another one of my friends. :\ It’s dumb, but it completely ruined my mood.

  • Me:

    Oh man I have so much work to do okay I'll just go to Spotify to get some music while I work

  • Gmail:

    Pay attention to me

    What how did 3 hours pass by what is this trickery

So quite honestly, I’ve been doing a bad job of being healthy for the past two days. Yesterday I drank a lot and ate three huge fatty (I say that literally, the food was very fattening) meals and today I had pad see eiw and fried rice with curry. Drinking lots of water and going to clean up my act again tomorrow. Sodium and carbs make me retain water like a MOFO. I went up 4 pounds in the past 2 days.

Saw a fitspo image today that said “results are just weeks away” and I was kinda like, woah it’s true, results ARE only a few weeks away. When you put it like that, it’s not so bad. It’s funny, sometimes it seems like my goal of being healthy and fit is this never-ending, unattainable dream that I can only imagine in my head. But actually, if I stuck with it, it’s just a matter of effort and time.

Kind of obvious, but it was a moment for me ok dont judge me

// I HAVEN’T POSTED IN SO LONG ;___;//

Why?

Because I’m in motherfucking LAW SCHOOL, that’s why. And law school = tired/busy/stressed. AKA TPR is being a bum and slacking.

On the plus side my friend here used to be a personal trainer and gave me a workout to do. I’m back at 158-160 (NOOO )’:)

I think I’m going to be restricting calories a lot more (in a HEALTHY way - chicken & veggies & brown rice, not saltines and water) because lately I’ve been eating out A LOT and doing a lot of drinking/sitting around. Time to get HEALTHY.

// I am CRAZY sore today.//

My arms literally feel like jello. I was holding my phone to text someone and my arm was actually shaking just from holding it.

Today was my last day in the gym before I move to Chicago for school. It was so sad saying goodbye to my trainer - he has helped me SO MUCH! Because of him I’ve lost 20 pounds, gained muscle, learned how to lift weights, and felt better about my body than I ever have.

I wish I could have told him that but I feel like it would have been creepy/weird.

The strangest thing is going to be making my own lifting workouts.

Does anyone have suggestions for how to create your own lifting workouts? I really don’t know what to do. TYIA <3 <3

  • Oh god, fruit has so much sugar.

  • I hate eating post-workout meals.

  • Barbells are for curling.

  • I have sooo much protein powder.

  • Ew, oatmeal. Disgusting.

  • This peanut butter has been sitting in my cupboard for so long, it already expired!

// there’s been a lack of personal posts on this blog lately…//

…because the Olympics have completely consumed my life. It’s been a lot of ups and downs, but I have enjoyed every second. I’ll get back into Tumblr soon I promise!

On an actual personal note, I’ve been working on learning to clean (and jerk, eventually). Fuck that shit is hard! x_x So far I’ve just been working with the bar.

// sooo apparently i lost 10 lbs while traveling.//

What the…????

Literally all I did for 5 weeks was drink every night to excess, eat carbs and meat (think weinerschnitzel and fries, doner kebabs, pasta, suppli, goulash, bread, etc etc). I didn’t work out at all, though I did walk a lot, and the only lifting I did was my 40 lb suitcase when we traveled every 4-5 days.

Yet another example of why weight = meaningless.

(okay but if I’m being honest here, I’m kind of excited. This means I’m only 15 lbs away from my old UGW. ): It sucks how one stupid number can be so tied to my emotions…ARGH!!!)
