My arms literally feel like jello. I was holding my phone to text someone and my arm was actually shaking just from holding it.
Today was my last day in the gym before I move to Chicago for school. It was so sad saying goodbye to my trainer - he has helped me SO MUCH! Because of him I’ve lost 20 pounds, gained muscle, learned how to lift weights, and felt better about my body than I ever have.
I wish I could have told him that but I feel like it would have been creepy/weird.
The strangest thing is going to be making my own lifting workouts.
Does anyone have suggestions for how to create your own lifting workouts? I really don’t know what to do. TYIA <3 <3

Julie Foucher #crossfit all start, rocking some #deadlifts
I might be crazy but isn’t this bad form? I was under the impression that when you deadlift, you should be pointing your toes straight forward and parallel to each other. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, I don’t want to be using bad form when I deadlift!

I’ve gotten a lot of asks lately around the same vein of “How did you get over your fear of weight lifting?” or “I’m afraid of the weights!” or anything of that nature. So I’ll give a little detail, as I’ve clearly decided studying needs a 10 minute hold ;)
I used to be TERRIFIED of the weight…
