1. Petite isn’t just a dress size. One of the reasons France has an 11 percent obesity rate (as compared to America’s 33 percent) is portion control. “A croissant in Paris is one ounce, while in Pittsburgh it’s two,” notes Chris Rosenbloom, Ph.D.,…

Don’t undo your workout.
I wish more people realised this. It gets on my nerves when someone goes to the gym/does a workout and then ‘rewards’ themselves with shitty arse food.

These are definitely not new, but I decided to write down some little weight loss/ healthy eating tips that I live by. :)
1. Replace mayo and cheese with mashed avocado. It’s delicious, creamy, and provides good fats and fiber. I like to mix mine with a little lemon juice and nutritional yeast.
2. Use lettuce instead of tortillas when you make wraps. Really cuts down on your calories and carbs. I prefer some brown rice on the side, anyways. ;)
3. Whole grains. You don’t have to eat as much of them and they’re sooo much better for you.
4. If you’re hungry, have a glass of water. If you’re still hungry, eat some healthy food.
5. After you’re done eating for the day, brush, floss and use mouthwash. This keeps me from grazing late at night when I’m bored. Just can’t give up the minty freshness. :)
6. Soda’s a treat. Try to find one with real cane sugar, not high fructose corn syrup and all that other crap. I like Blue Sky Soda.
7. There is no tomorrow. If you eat a chocolate bar, you haven’t ruined your day. It’s not an excuse to pack in the junk food.
8. Replace half your pasta with spiralized or thinly sliced cucumber, carrot and zucchini. You get in more veggies and less calories.
9. Replace half of your juice with soda water, this will cut the calories and be yummy and fizzy.
I hope this helps, definitely helped me through my first 50 pounds. Might post some exercise ones later. :)
Have a great day everyone, stay gorgeous. <3

like idk exactly how much celery/tofu/chicken/etc was in my 1/2 cup of stir fry…e_e and loseit.com isn’t exactly helpful in trying to calculate it out.
I’m a little freaked out because I tried to calculate how much I usually eat (ex: this morning, a 2-egg & spinach omelette w/2 slices of whole wheat bread, lunch = 1 cup of watermelon and 1/2 cup grapes with 2 cups stir fried chicken/tofu/veggies/eggs) and it’s telling me I’m only eating like…882 cal. Which means even if I eat a little more for dinner, I’m eating like 1300 calories total AND working out.
On top of that I usually don’t even eat breakfast so I eat even FEWER calories normally. So why the heck do I GAIN weight and weigh so damn much???? Am I tracking them wrong??
