Monday July 23 - Back:
Pull-ups: Assisted with 30 lbs, 30 in 10 mins.
Barbell Rows - 4x 8-10 (1): 55/60/70/75 Go up!
Close Neutral Grip Pulldowns - 3x 8-10 (2): 60/80/90x7F
Seated Straight Bar Rows - 3x 8-10 (2): 50/70/80 Go up!
There was a tornado watch but I still went to the gym. I had to drive 40 km/hr because the rain was coming down so hard and the roads were flooded. Sadly, with all the rain and hail, I won’t be doing hill sprints today…
BUT here is a progess picture of my back! Six months makes a huge difference ^_^
T is making tons of progress, too.
46 pounds lighter
I used to be 167 lbs= 76 kg, now I’m 121 lbs=55 kg. six months in the making and I’m not where I want to be… YET.
I hope this inspires other girls dealing with weight issues, this shows that it is possible to make a change, you’ve got to be determined.
A friend of mine just asked for an overall before/after. It’s been so long and I get so focused on losing these last bits of body fat that I sometimes forget how far I’ve come. It’s nice to be reminded.
My goal weight for 5ft6. :D

How she started: “In 2006, I started changing my diet little by little so that I could stick with it and not burn out. Then I started increasing the frequency and intensity of my workouts. I talked to a personal trainer friend who helped me figure out what to do to achieve my goals. I also purchased an online competition prep package…it helped take away some of the guesswork and helped my push through my plateaus. Now I work with a trainer about once a week just to focus on whatever body part is lagging and to ensure I don’t slack!”
Why she loves it: “I LOVE seeing my body change in ways that I didn’t even know were possible. I love the challenge, and seeing friends and family inspired and moved to action by what I am doing. It keeps me on track because I don’t want to let them down. I have dropped three clothing sizes and 1/2 a shoe size! I didn’t even know that was possible!”

As of this morning I have lost an even 30kgs!!! (66lbs) After 9 months of dedication, persistence, hard work and appreciation towards my mind, body and soul I’ve reached a point in my life where there is no turning back. This is me, this is who I am.
