Wellbeing | So the early bird really does get the worm…
A Daily Mail article from 15th September 2011 reads “Want to be happier and slimmer? Get up earlier”.
In a study conducted by Roehampton University of almost 1,100 men and women about their sleeping habits and health, it found that early risers show the fewest signs of depression and anxiety. Those who wake up before 7am were also more likely to eat breakfast - linked to increased metabolism, energy and slimness.
I might just reconsider pressing snooze tomorrow morning.
