ran a timed mile for the first time in 6 years...

oh my god i eat SO MANY CARBS WTF
I’ve been trying to maintain a 40/40/20 balance of protein/carbs/fat….
….today my protein was like…23% of my diet, with carbs being the majority. WHAT THE FUCK. I don’t think people should drop carbs altogether for weight loss, but I do think that eating more carbs than protein leads to weight gain. So frustrating!!! ):

soooo....
i just sat down to have a snack of 1/2 a small banana and a tablespoon of sunflower seed butter.
one bite into the banana and my brain was like “Who are you kidding…let’s not waste time here pretending. We all know why you’re really here.”
…so I didn’t eat the banana and I just ate the nut butter. Alone. By itself. It was glorious.
